ACCREDITEDEast Watertown around Coolidge Square is two- and three-families shoulder to shoulder along Mt. Auburn Street, side yards too narrow for a dolly, so a refrigerator goes in through the front door and across the living room.
Along Arsenal and Pleasant Streets the new apartment buildings are a different job: in-unit laundry, its own HVAC unit in every apartment, and a property manager who wants a certificate of insurance and a loading dock window before anyone rides the freight elevator.
These stages may vary slightly depending on the type of appliance being repaired and the specific requirements of the client.
A malfunctioning appliance can be a real headache, but it doesn't have to be. At our company, we offer a comprehensive range of repair services for various household appliances, providing efficient and reliable solutions to any issue.
No surprises. No hidden fees. Just honest, upfront pricing for quality HVAC & appliance repair.
Access, parking and what the buildings here do to a service call.
It is city-wide, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. except Sundays and holidays, and it applies to a van too. Most repairs fit inside two hours; an install does not, and then the van moves or uses your driveway. For deliveries, Watertown requires no permit for a truck actively loading, but it will not reserve space, and on a narrow street parking is one side only.
Watertown's ban runs 1 to 6 a.m., but only between dates the city announces each winter; in 2026 it ran from January 2 to March 11. It does not touch a daytime visit. It matters if a job carries over and you planned to leave your car on the street to keep the driveway free: it cannot stay there, and the school lots close at 6 a.m.
Part of it. Watertown's Historic District Commission reviews all work on structures in the Mount Auburn Street Historic District, established in 2002, and the city publishes the map and property list. If your parcel is on it, a condenser on the street elevation is reviewed first. Everywhere else in Watertown the Historical Commission handles only demolition delay, and there is no design review of exterior equipment.
Roof or mechanical-room access for the condenser, a booked service elevator, and a name at the desk; the certificate of insurance is our side. The in-unit air handler is usually the landlord's equipment, so check the lease before booking as the tenant. Arsenal Yards alone added more than four hundred residences, and every one of those buildings has its own procedure; the visit runs on theirs.
