ABV SYSTEMS LLC Terms and Conditions

Effective as of 01/01/2024

  1. SCHEDULING: We maintain a 2-hour window for appointments. All appointments are to be scheduled upon part(s) arrival if pre-ordered part delivery takes time.
  2. CANCELLATIONS: Cancellations made 24 hours prior are not subject to charge. A fee of $45.00 is set for late cancellations (less than 24 hours) and $50.00 for cancellations less than 8 hours prior. Failure to notify ABV of absence or unreachability at the scheduled time of repair incurs a fee. Changes must be notified to ABV at 617-404-9944 to avoid cancellation fees.
  3. SERVICE CALL FEE: A free service call is offered with full repair service. Service call fee is charged upon refusal of repair or decision to purchase a new appliance. The service call fee includes examination, diagnosis, and total repair cost estimation.

  • Standard brands (Fee: $95.00): Amana, Ariston, Electrolux, etc.
  • Elite brands (Fee: $95.00): Alfresco, American Range, Blue Star, etc.

  1. MULTIPLE UNITS: We offer a $40.00 discount per additional Standard or Elite brand unit for diagnosis and repair of multiple appliances. A service fee is charged per unit.
  2. DIAGNOSIS: Ensure proper installation and accessibility of the appliance before the technician’s arrival. Distinctly articulate any malfunctions or problems. The technician will perform an initial examination and diagnosis.
  3. TOTAL COST AND ESTIMATION: Estimates are valid for 30 days. Payment for parts and/or labor confirms the use of ABV service at the estimated price.
  4. PARTS: Most commonly-required parts are readily available. If not, they are ordered within 72 hours. The customer is contacted for an appointment once parts are available.
  5. DELAYED PAYMENTS: Fees for delayed payments are as follows:
  6. PAYMENTS: Accepted methods are cash, check, and credit card (except American Express). Partial payment for parts and labor is required at the first visit, with the remainder due upon repair completion.

  • 7 days delay: $25.00 per invoice
  • 14 days delay: $50.00 per invoice
  • 30 days delay: Collections (customer’s liability)

  1. REFUSAL OF PAYMENTS: Receivables are subject to collections upon refusal of payments.
  2. REPAIR: Testing of the appliance(s) post-repair in the technician’s presence is required. Payment confirms satisfaction with the service and function of the appliance(s).
  3. REFUNDS: Refund requests are subject to the technician’s decision. The reimbursement period is up to 4 weeks. No refunds on control boards or special order parts.
  4. WARRANTY: Parts warranty is valid for 60 days; labor warranty for 60 days. Contact ABV for warranty service. Service fees may apply if no error is detected.
  5. COMMUNICATIONS AGREEMENT (NEW): By submitting a service request or contacting us, customers agree to receive text messages regarding reminders, unpaid invoices, upcoming appointments, or review requests.
  6. REFUSAL OF SERVICE: The company reserves the right to refuse service unilaterally.
